What up dudes, long time no see, wonder if you guys know of a little shop that can do bumper fabrication, rock sliders and things like at good prices around Socal?, not for an FJ, as you know i sold that one, then Sold the Jeep, now i have a 4 door RAM 1500 as the family keeps growing

One of my windshield wipers crapped out today of course it had to be the drivers side. Pretty sure the snow had something to do with it. Had to get a new one

My RCI skids haven't looked that good for a long time. They are Gen 1, have worked well and are dimensionally challenged at this point.

Next one I'll order bare, weld some stiffeners in prior to paint and install.

 

Yup, mine used to look that good. They do their job well.

 

Fixed an annoying squeaky brake and rotated my tires! I feel like I just went to the gym for two hours!

In steel 45 lbs, replacing at least 15 lbs oem plates. +30lbs more or less, but the added weight is low so not as bad as anything on the roof.

 

Ahh, good to know. Later this year my FJ will get a full armor package and RCI are one of my considerations.

Installing a group 24F Autocraft Platinum AGM from advance auto parts ( casing looks rebranded and similar to Duralast AGM from Autozone). My current battery seems like it's slowly on the way out after putting in a volt meter. Threw on a diode mod for the alternator boost.

 

About to switch teams lol...
I will have a full set of Walker Evans available as soon as I get them rebuilt anyone interested hit me up.

Been a member of the wide body for sometime but now my FJ is joining the club.

 

Looks good man! Who makes the wide fenders, I looked recently and couldn't find them? Guess I didn't look hard enough lol

 

All good. Two companies are producing them as far I know. Two Equal Height Columns - Liquid Layout was the orginal. https://www.mcneilracinginc.com/collections/toyota-fj-cruiser/trailer-products is the second. Not sure if they duplicated the original but it looks awfully similar with the exception of their one piece design change on the front. I have the trailer products on the front and McNeil rears because the gas tank has a proper cut out for the tank door

 

While rotating my tires last week I noticed my rear brake pads were totally gone. I`m sure if I would have waited to change them they would have started squeaking after another 100 ft. Quick trip to the parts store and about 30 minutes I had new pads installed.. Also this winters snow has wreaked havoc on my roof lights wiring. When I get time i`m going to have to rewire all of them.

Nice work on wrapping. Don't imagine it's an easy process either. I tried wrapping some camo vinyl and messed so bad that I had to trash it

 

Lots has been going on. Replaced rear brakes with ebc yellow stuff pads. Sold the TRD/KM2 wheel and tire combo. Sponsors came through with the KM3 bfg, change the wheels temporarily to RRW's. Added a AirAid cold air intake (mainly for aesthetics). truck is back at Magnuson Superchargers to check system operation with the AirAid cai and do some fine tuning.

Haha it's seen some but not as much as it should. Mainly because something always happens. Like it was sitting on jack stands for 4 months bcuz the volks I wanted where not available till later this summer. And then it was at the body shop for paint . Now it's currently at Magnuson Superchargers getting worked on. So half of the time I don't even Have the truck to use it. But I shall try to make it out with group again . I haven't forgotten

I like how dark this silver is in the wrong light.

 

With the overhead utilities, barbwire and spanish paper I'd guess you've crossed a boarder... or are in North O.C.

 

Got a new set of shoes for my FJ yesterday. Method Racing 307's and a set of BFG's KM3s. Now I have to do the body mount mod. My other wheels, Pro Comp Xtremes, are going up for sale.
