I had 15k maintenance done.. 15k since December 24th.. that's alotta miles. LOL

I betrayed it then asked for forgiveness.

The FJ60's battery kept going dead so I recharged the new battery and replaced the alternator. We drove it out for dinner last night without a problem. This morning, instead of the FJC, I was planning on taking the FJ60 to work 34 miles round trip over the hill that separates Los Angeles from the valley. It would've been the longest drive since bringing the 60 back to life. I started the 60 and the battery light did not go away until I gassed it. I decided to go with it and started drviing away. As I was driving, thoughts of stalling on the 405 or begging for a jump at my parking lot at work started to appear in my mind. I turned back to home and jumped in the FJC.

I obviously need more proof there are no electrical issues with that old truck. no rush.

Found out the real culprit of my front diff rattle that I won as a consolation prize at Sidewinder. When I got home that night I found out it was something with the breather lines but today I took off my skids and found out the problem deeper in. It appears there is a bracket with steel breather lines that bolts somewhere underneath the engine mount. This came out somehow and was rattling on the CVs with every revolution. The steel lines are bent and destroyed to no end on the wheel side.

Here is the bracket/steel breather lines:

Garrett recommended to do a scuba driver style mod, and I think it's a good idea. But if I can get this part for cheap, I will probably just do that rather than design something...

Anyone have an idea of where I cand find a detailed diagram with part numbers?

Listened to the damn whirrrr sound as I drove it to Costa mesa then back to garden grove (work) and keep stressing how much its going to cost. I've ruled out wheel bearing, pinion bearing no play in rather and no shaveings on the magnet at the bottom of the diff I'm stumped.....
