Nah this is just for when it's just me or me an Lia. I HATE setting up the tent, unless it's like a 3 day weekend thing, but for just sleeping one night before a run is a pain, in my opinion anyway.

Personally, I enjoy making AND breaking camp...unless I'm hungover trying to break camp.

There's just something satisfying about it.

My favorite part is when you thought it would be a good idea to refuel your FJ right above to propane stove that you were cooking on. LOL The gods were with you that day... hahaha

I tried the mattress in the back thing and found that for me, it's MUCH easier just to sleep in the drivers seat with a sleeping bag and Lucas or Hannah sleeps accross the back seat. I don't have to unload any crap from the vehicle AND it's much easier to get out of the rig to take a leak in the middle of the night. If it's the whole family, I bring the tent.

yeah we'll see, I usually do the seat thing, I just wanted to try another option and I got it for about haf price and you know me and good deals, I cant pass em up. I must be part jewish. lol

i did the air mattress in the back of the fj for pismo, and booooyy was i comfortable, it fits perfect esp. if you undo the bottom parts of the rear seats. nice pick up mike and that bacon took long matt but it was soooo good in the morning, nothing like waking up to the smell of bacon:hungry:

Ya the bacon was a shame but well worth the comedy that came from it I can't wait for superstions, I love camping and the outdoors

 

I don't need no stinking mattress, or tent. I just find out who has the nicest sleeping arrangement, then get drunk, and crawl into bed with them. I blame it on the drunkeness, if they wake up.

 

 

When I did the Mojave Trail, I had the air mattress in the back of the FJ. It worked so well that it's all I'll do in the future. To me it's worth loading/unloading all my crap (except the food...that stays in the front seat at night).
