Ok i was driving along and the four wheel drive symbol came on red and was flashing!!! I didn't know what to do! Called a Toyota dealer they told me to call road side service called them and they had it towed to there dealership and then called me and said oh there was a button that was pushed down WHAT!!!!! What button????

Maybe she was driving along in 4L by chance accidently hit the button and it hadn't engaged yet.
Wow that was an expencive lesson. The dealer is that last place I would call. They seem to know the least about the FJ 
I'm disapointed that the dealer told you to have the vehicle towed rather than spend a few minutes with you on the phone to solve the problem. Did you have to pay for the tow? I hope that some of the smarta** replies do not discourage you from participating in this forum. So, welcome aboard lifesaver705.
