Who wanted the German wine?

Someone on here was looking for a particular brand of wine from Germany, I believe it was called "Black Cat". MosesFJGirl was going to try to get it, but was unable to.

I'm leaving for Germany on Friday, and will be back on the 16th. The sales guy for the vendor I'm going to visit has 2 bottles of it waiting for me there. (he's really concerned about us looking at other vendors I think).

So, who were they for? We can work out the delivery when I get back.

I'm pretty sure that was Tim (FJVP) that asked Alicia if she could get it for him...you might want to PM him cause I think he's been busy with his business. The fires got to some of his equipment so I'm sure that's keeping him busy.

Sitting next to me....

One bottle of 2007 Zeller Schwarze Katz, Riesling, Gustsabfullung, and, one bottle of Zeller Schwarze Katz, Riesling - Auslese.

Hopefully they make it home without opening (either from me or breakage)

Also, the local guy here has a website, and can ship to the US, even if you want a small number of bottles at a time. I'll get that info for you.

Happy to say that both bottles made it, although the bag was eaten by some machine between Atlanta and OC. Got a brand new free bag from Delta.

I'll be looking at my schedule soon, and gathering my wiring parts. Hopefully we can do it before Ouray, but that's only a month away, so not sure. I'd like to at least get the wine to you before then, so let me know how you want to do that.

If you would like to buy some of this wine, here's a website that will take the order, and ship to the US. Oh, knowing Germany might help. Google language tools might be useful as well.

I found some more Black Cat German wine. At Old World in Huntington Beach (or Westminster, whatever you decide) they have some at the market there. It's in a black bottle, shaped like a cat. It was a different 'flavor' than what I had brought back for Tim, but should still be pretty good. One of the highest priced German wines they had.

Oh, BTW.... restaurant is pretty good too. ;D
