Thanks Dave for catching the flaws with outlaw off road......... Not only was it done incorrectly, it was dangerous . The bolts were so loose that Dave was able to unscrew them by hand. DO NOT get sold by the size and appearance of that place......definitely will never go back there again and would advise those new to mods and off road to stay far away from them. I should of did my research on this forum before letting my eagerness and excitement of a new toy (mod) get the best of me. Thanks again Dave ... I got the adapter and should be able to make it up there this weekend..... Btw... Do u know anyone that can do retrofit hid fx-r? Thinking about picking them up but after my conclusion with outlaw, I am a little hesitant.

 

All Pro put caps on their UCAs years ago. Thats the reason I went with them. No dirt in the ball joints ever.

had it realigned again.... they are going to get tired of me at Firestone in Yucipia.

 

I finally got around to finishing up my onboard air.
fabbed up a bracket for an old battery tray and rubber mounted it then put the compressor in.
ran 4 gauge to a 300 amp switch and fused it with a 175 amp at the battery.
Ran 300 degree 300 psi 3/8 line for 3 ft with a piece of 2000 degree orange fire shield over the quick connect. No more blisters lol yes I burn the hell out of myself once.
ran that in another quick connect and 25' of 3/8 220 degree 300 psi air line.

From what Ive seen so far, this thing fills a 285 KM2 from 15 to 45 lbs in about 45 seconds.
its rated at 100% duty cycle at 150 psi, but I don't know the cfm. It pulls about 100 amps.
in the couple online tests I found, it was much faster than most anything else including the ARB twin.
its the outback extreme air magnum.

I went with the keyed switch so I can keep the key in the glovebox and not worry about the thing being ran without the hood up.(it gets hot!)

next up is hard line plumbing to a tank in the back but that will have to wait awhile.

 

Removed my rear sway bar :flash:.... discovered that the driver side lower link slightly bent and both right and left lower link mount brackets are slightly bent probably have to replace the brackets when I upgrade to stronger bigger links.:frown:

 

Post pics. I'm sure they're not as bad as you think they are. That's why I always say get the front mount skids as soon as possible.

Its more of what I did for my FJ.. Met BreaFJ and his lovely wife when I picked up the 42 inch Farm Jack (hi-lift), then went to Pep Boys and picked up a Master Flow 1050 air compressor.:biggrin:

 

I had the HF farm jack (worked great ) and I still have my Master Flow 1050 air compressor and its been working great for almost 7 yrs ( use it all the time ) They are a couple of good items to have

 

Sitting at Longo Toyota while they replace both my front CV's with new ones under warranty for leaking inner boots...:biggrin: My 7 year/100k extended warranty more than paid for itself over it's life.

 

No issues with the warranty and your lift?

 

Nope, never had with Longo over the last 14 years.. which is why I drive 50 miles to use them..had a ton done with my previous lifted and very abused Tacoma, and no issues with the FJ either. Last year they gave me a whole new rear 3rd under warranty at 75,000 miles when mine blew out in Death Valley. I know some people have had issues with them, but I never have.. Of course I do take the time to fill out both the Longo and Toyota customer service surveys and give them high marks, I've even had the general manager call me and thank me for it.. so I think I'm on the white list with them after all these years... :leghump: This is the last thing I'll get under warranty though, the 7 years expired this week...:frown:

 

They replaced my real axle housing on my Tacoma when it looked like this:

So yeah, it pays to suck up to the right dealers... :biggrin:
