So my wife uses the FJ as a daily driver since she works close to home (and she loves the rig but won't admit it.) Due to the lift and other mods she is forced to park in a special strip of parking conveniently located on the first floor labeled 'high clearance vehicles'. If she had to park with everyone else, she would have to walk farther and use elevators etc. Well it appears that she started a trend and a couple of stock FJCs started to park next to her for a few weeks now. She just called telling me the other two FJCs got tickets today  She says the other FJCs and even other domestic SUVs are much shorter than our FJ but try to park there. Even when she drives our Tahoe, she parks knows to park in the regular spaces.

Ooooooops...........just wanted to share and perhaps warn others that they do give tickets in such places. I was surprised myself.

i know that they have a place like that at the triangle square in newport...
it pisses me off when i see a car parked there because i can't fit anywhere but in the designated high clearance area.

Ya, we gotta be really careful when we go down to the strip. My FJ will not fit in the parking garage at the Stratosphere, Caesars Palace, The Flamingo...I usually valet it and tell them to keep it up front, because it won't fit in the garage (and if they break it, they buy it)

Or I just take the Tundra but even with the leveling kit, it is TIGHT!
