What do you guys/ gals think? We've been up and running almost 2 months solid now.
Pushing 175 members. Not to shabby for a regional forum if you ask me.

I am thinking about printing "window cards" to put on FJ windows when I spot them in parking lots and whatnot.
Something that refers them to the forums with a spot where you can write your screen name.
Would you guys use them? Do you like the forums enough? ;D ;D ;D

I would definitely hand them out...I was thinking about getting some of the stickers for this but don't wanna spend the money and have someone throw the sticker away when I put it on their FJ...not actually sticking it on but that would be funny!! But yea, I think it's a great idea, kind of like a..."You've been invited to check out "socalfjcruiserforums.com, by...(screename)" Can't wait to get my sticker to put on my truck...should be in the mail as I type! hehe

Or mabey we could have a standard style card with a pic of each of our own rigs for the background and printed with our info. I got a bunch of them from A4x4 but all of them have Gon2Surfs rig and no personal info. then we could see who brought the most folks to the forum. It would be cheaper to do all the same but It can't be much to get a hundred each but more personalized. Just an idea.

cards are a good idea. I don't think I would put my screen name on them. I could see some people being offended by something stuck on there rig. If you give an address and screen name I can see some stalking you or PM you hate mail.

I could see the cards saying, "want to be part of a great FJ community, check out..." both forums or just this one.

see, I wouldn't mind putting my screen name, now I wouldnt put my real name and phone number, but a screen name and web address should be pretty untraceable unless you tell the person later, Ahh, what do I care really, I invite people I never met over to work on there rigs on a regular basis. lol

I think the site needs more information to draw more attention (Internet Traffic).

I don't know the statistics. Even if we invited every SoCal FJ Cruiser owner to the site, only a fraction would be car fanatics and only a fraction would take it off-roading. Four Wheeling folks are a minority.

Although the site is called socalfjcruiserforums.com, I think it should be treated as a non-regional website.

What are the goals of this site? Do you want to grow like the blue room?
