I'm addicted to these two shows. Anyone else watch them. It makes me wanna drive out to the desert until I run out of gas.....hopefully I stop walking distance to Vegas

I've learned how to extract drinking water on a deserted island. I've learned the characteristic of bugs NOT to eat. I've learned about plants worth eating. I think I'll look for the DVD set....I'm hooked.

Yeah, I got my wife hooked on the shows as well. I had to tell her about Survivorman drinking water from his urine. You gotta do what you gotta do.

We like Survivorman over Bear as well but I've learned lots from both. I'm thinking about getting a second DVR just for thos two shows. Bear over acts sometimes.

It's so amazing how Survivorman has the time to compose his own camera shots. All the gear alone must weight alot.

I love watching them start fires....so freaking cool!

both of those shows have taught me a lot of survival stuff. It led me to look into other neccessary items to add to my survival/offroad bag in the FJ

LOVE IT! Bear Grills is obviously fake, I mean, how does a man shave every day in the wild? :-\ But it's still interesting. Ya, and I LOVE survivor man. My favorite one is where he has the hot air balloon that crashes!! TORCH!! haha. Sweet.

love Les on survivorman, Bear is all fake. he brings up good techniques and stuff but he's all fake. check this out. I remember when this episode came out, the coconut wireless (island gossip) was all about it.

There you go FunJunkie, I fixed it for you! But ya, Les is awesome. I really hate it when Bear will say "this snake is good for you" and then he actually eats it!! It's obviously for shock factor! But when Les sees something that is edible, he educates you on what to look for and then puts it back, because he doesn't need it most of the time! I don't know, I just don't see the point of eating a snake (or anything else like that) when you have your whole crew with you and you eat good food most likely! I doubt the crew is eating snakes and such as well, just to stay alive!! Lame!! haha. Sorry, end of rant. haha.

We do not like Les from Survivorman as he annoys the hell out of us. We like Bear Grylls (fake and scripted or not) and I think Bear could beat the crap out of Les if they ever had to do UFC to see who's a real survivolist! : ;D

I watch survivorman all the time and have learned from it. I don`t like Bear grills or his show to dramatic.
