To anyone looking to do some safe trails from Appel Valley to Big Bear I've been doing these these trails since I had a driver's license back in the 70s... please join my wife and I for an FJ adventure... we will be in Hesperia on Maine Street @ the 76 gas station just to the east of the 15 freeway... we should be there around 10am and leaving around 11am... hope to see you there. email me @ [email protected] or text to (562) 264-9515. What day were you planning on doing this? I live up here in the Big Bear area. I would like to learn the trail coming up here.

Thank for the reply, some how I missed your reply... we will try again to get together. My wife and I are heading to Lake Havasu on the 24th 25th and 26th of this month we stay at the London Bridge Resort it's sweet. Keep in touch. Thord

No worries. I live up here in the Big Bear area and there are many many feet of snow up here right now. I actually believe that the forest is closed right now. This would have to be a late spring or summer run up here right now :)

Here is a youtube video explaining all the road closures in and around Big Bear. Doesn't;t look good for the next 3 months.
