Hey guys, so my OME shocks are done and I have the OME mediums in the front. I don't have the cash to spend on some nice icons or aftermarket coilovers so I was wondering what options do I have as far as aftermarket shocks go that will be compatible with the OME springs? I know the Bilstein 5100s might work, any other cost effective options? ???

if it were me, i'd stick with the OMEs as they are designed to work with one another. you might save just a few bucks by going with different shocks, but is it worth it in the end?

Any shocks will work, I ran my stock shocks for about a year on the OME springs until I got around to replacing them. They may not work Idealy, but they will work.

yea i guess i'm saving up for some omes, shame they didnt last too long maybe 20k miles

i like my 5100's and i have them with stock springs. I am waiting for the rears to come out this fall and then i need to consider a new set of springs.

I just had my right front OME shock replaced via warranty. I bought them from the 4wheelparts in Laguna Hills, and they handled the warranty part for me.

I went in on a Saturday for balance and for them to check out the shocks. They had to order, and after a mis-ordered part, I had the new one installed by Wednesday.

Drew and the gang at the store in Laguna Hills are pretty good from my experience. I had some hesitations on working with them after your ordeal, but things seem ok at this store, so far.

No charge at all for the shock. They did charge for install.
