My new Camburg UCA's finally shipped today. Only took 5 weeks ffs. It looks like my FJ will be getting some much needed front end work after I return from Alaska.

BTW, I will be going to the Arctic Circle with my brother in his 2012 FJ, so I will post up pics asap.

It would appear that it is tradition to put your off road club sticker on the back of the Arctic Circle sign.

There could possibly be a SoCal FJ Cruiser AAT sticker on it next week....

I pulled that pic from Google maps so I have no idea what that sticker says. If it is still there next week, Ill find out.

My internet explorer has been down for a day or so. I`ve been using firefox to get online. I`m not used to it and i`n having to search for all my favorites i`ve saved since the don`t transfer over from IE....not cool

Finally, after 5 weeks of waiting, they have arrived. I get to wait another 2 weeks to install as I am leaving for Alaska tomorrow.

I got down to Firestone today for my alignment and they told me they couldn`t do it because my Lower Control Arms are wore out. They wanted $1100 to fix them. I told them no I`ll do it myself. He told me it wandered all over the road during a test drive. I told them that's funny it didn`t wander all over the road coming over here. I`m a little pissed right now. I`m looking into new parts but as for now I have to drive around without my alignment done. My tires are going to hate me.

I wouldn't even deal with changing the bushings or ball joint. Simpler to slap new ones from Rock Auto.

I had egging in the LCA cam holes, set me up for some epic welding time added to LCA swap, strong now. I would take a peak before you start.

It sounds like its time for a solid front axle swap Steve

That's what I`m doing. I was actually just looking at the Moog and Mevtech brands, Both seem to have good reviews. I'm leaning towards Moog. I`m going to buy the cam bolt sets also and most likely cut off the old ones

Well Steve, looks like I am in a similar situation now. Went down to Firestone yesterday for an alignment, but was sadly told that they were unable to adjust the right side due to the camber bolt being frozen :frown: My bushings are still good though, so I wont need to replace them just yet. Now I have new Moog camber bolts coming from Rock Auto. Firestone wanted $150 just for labor to install them so I politely told them I would take care of it myself.

Went down to Firestone yesterday for an alignment, but was sadly told that they were unable to adjust the right side due to the camber bolt being frozen :frown: My bushings are still good though, so I wont need to replace them just yet. In all honesty I haven`t thoroughly looked at my LCAs yet. I`m guessing I need 2 cam bolts per LCA for a total of 4 cam bolts for both LCAs ? I`m going to be ordering everything here in the next day or so

I was just going to cut mine off. I`ve read to many stories where folks spent hours and effort to remove. I`m going with a sawzall and a BFH

Well I`m going to try and just use a breaker bar and what not but I`m preparing to go to war with them so I'm getting the sawzall ready
