Just got back from a run and almost puked. What masochist thought that it was a good idea to run for fun. i guess there is that so called runner's high. i felt it once as i was finishing a 7 mile leg of a relay race on the way to vegas. it was 12am, 20 degrees, and i had not slept in about 40 hours. i was hallucinating that Jim Morrison and the indian were coming out of the desert at me. I ran the last mile thinking i had achieved that runners high. turns out it was because of the cold beer that was waiting for me after the finish line. it still wasn't fun. pardon my anti exercise rant, but the tingling on my tongue and the burning in my lungs is finally going away. Guess i'll do it again tomorrow and enjoy my agony.

Ran leg 9. Didn't run last year due to tendonitis in my feet from the year prior. i was planning on my old leg this year till the boss took one look at me and told me i am running alternate.

i'll run the .2, you can finish the last 26. I agree, training is the worst, especially if you are recovering from an injurie that sidelined you out for over a year and half.
