Hi all!

I just posted over on the blue forum, see I have been paying attention, and I wanted to post here too to introduce myself. I'm in the process of getting an FJ and I am in SoCal so I look forward to reading here, learning etc. I plan on starting slow, I don't have plans to mod right away, I am fresh into the idea of off road so timid!

Anyway, thanks again for the forum!

No worries! If you one you was named Fugazi I might mention how I saw them in Memphis in the 90's! I'm not named after that band but I used to listen to a lot of punk, still do now and then. Anyway...

Today I drove around Santiago Canyon road then through Tustin, Newport Beach and Huntington Beach, I had some errands to do. I counted 8 FJ's, no SE's. Maybe my eye for them is sharper now that I'm close to getting one but I never noticed so many around here before.

Welcome and when do you plan on getting your FJ? Santiago Canyon has a few trails to run when they finally re open due to the fires. Holy Jims Canyon is at the far end of Santiago and is open right now. I go to Silverado all the time when its open. Steve

Got my black 08 with Convenience package 1 and Offroad package! I didn't get a roof rack or bling plate (I have picked up some bad terms already here) or any of that stuff since I plan to get some non-OEM parts.

Now the ever important infamous journey of a thousand miles has started.

Step 1: Get Truck
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit!
