I blew out a rear shock yesterday and I need to replace it today. Anyone have a decent set of rear for a lifted rig for a good price?? I'm of course on a major budget so I cant afford new. If not pease chime in if you think it will be OK to run to Ouray and back. I know piper did the whole Mohave trail with his removed on the driver side. whats the worst that could happen??

I would not test it Mike....You will be putting a lot of pressure on your springs/trailing arms in off camber situations. The worst that could happen is that you have to stay in Ouray and have it repaired to get home. Just my .02

Right on. I found out that the nitrogen valve is crushed and oil sprayed out of it. I'm sure it will still function as a peice, I will just lose damping. so far it didnt bounce around too much today..

Yo Mike! I'm gonna guess that when u say its blown that means its wasted & just not seaping oil. Any shock will work as long as it is correct legnth for your lift. As long as it rebounds & dampens you tire from bouncing on the spring just go out & get the cheapest one you can get. Just get one. You can upgrade both when you get back.
