Sorry for the delay on this guys and gals.

The meet and eat will be at Los Vaqueros Cantina and Grill, 3909 West Florida Avenue in Hemet, California on the 1st of November at 5pm. There is plenty of parking to the southwest of the building.


They are offering two specail meals for our group, but you can order from the menu if you want. They have reserved a special area for us.

Entrees. 1-3 at $14.95

#1 Taco and enchilada, served with rice beans

#2 Two enchiladas, served with beans rice

#3 Two fried Tacos, served with rice and beans

Dinners include: Soup or Salad and Soft Drink.


Entrees 4-6 cost $19.95


#4 Carne Asada Rib Eye Steak, marinated 8 oz Prime Rib Eye Stead served with rice and beans

#5 Pechugas de Pollo, Chicken breast pieces in Cream Sauce with Onions, Chiles and Cheese, served with Rice and Vegetables

#6 Halibut Filet, Tender filet of Grilled Halibut topped with Butter and Garlic Sauce, served with rice and
vegetable

Dinners include Soup or Salad and Fresh Totillas and Soft Drink

These prices are for 25 or more, if we have less you can order directly from the menu.

They have some of the best chips and salsa around and they cook them and the tortillas on site. This is authentic Mexican food. It is owned and operated by the local Marie Calanders. Beautiful setting and great service.

I need a close head count by this Saturday. Again sorry for the delay, I have been out of town.

We just had our first Grand Child and she had a very rough birth. We are very lucky to have her and it was tough around there for the first week. But she is doing well now we think. We also moved them back from Missouri so it was quite a 3 week ordeal. Mom and baby are doing fine. Son and Big Grandma (Be sure to call Patti Big Grandma, she just loves it) are still suffering from the ordeal.

I wouldn't mind if anyone wanted to come by after, but if you plan to drive your Lexus might have a hard time getting up my driveway. ;D I'll make sure I have firewood as well.

1. head to my house, its on the edge of town can have a fire in the fire place or out side in the fire pit.

2. Or night run, We would head up Bee Canyon (easy/fire road) to Indian truck trail (medium) sliders recommended but not required. google map shows the portion of Bee canyon till the turn off (left/north) to Indian truck trail.

The trail ends on Hwy 243 north of Idllywild about 20 min from the I-10.
