Joey, first of all welcome to the madness!! haha

Second, the tire thing. I took my cover off about 3 months ago cause I got a bike rack that mounts to the spare and I also have it armour alled when I get it washed and it seems to be doing fine. Another thing some people do is rotated the spare into the mix with the other 4 tires to get even wear, not sure how that works though, just heard of some people doing that!

Hope this helps

cool thanks, yea i figure the sun might damage it, luckly i dont park in the sun except on weekends since i have a covered garage at work, i thought about rotating the wheel around with the 4 or just plain spinning it around the spare hook i hope the white spots arent bad hopefully just armour all residue
thanks again

Welcome to the madness. Kiss your rainy-day fund goodbye!

About the spare tire....the sun WILL take it's toll on the tire, as Dominic said. But, putting Armor All on the tire will speed up the process. It looks good, but in the long run it's not good. Use 303 Protectant. It has UV block in it, just like sunscreen, and doesn't dry out the rubber like Armor All does. I use it on my dash and door panels, as well as the exteruir plastic/rubber on my 1965 Mustang to keep it looking it's best for car shows.

Have fun, and see ya on the trails!!
