Hello all, just found this site...I've had my FJ since Nov 07 and am just now finding out about these sites and getting into the FJ Craze...even though I've already got 7000 miles on my FJ. I love it and only wish I had bought a 4WD...I know I'm ready to hear all the comments...either way I got a FJ and Love it!!! Hope to meet some of you and thanks for all your posts on here...they're a great help to a newbie!!!

Welcome!
Howdy Moe, and welcome to the forums. I don't think you'll hear too many comments from this group RE you being 2wd. We have a couple members here (FJVP and IMachU) that have them as well and still show up for trail runs.

Have you had yours in the dirt yet?
G
Yo! Fellow pre-runner here. These FJs in 4X2 are amazing!! Welcome to the site, and I hope to see you out on the trails (getting stuck next to me!).
Welcome to the forum Moeses. Even in 2 WD, it's still a fun vehicle to have.
Welcome!

I agree. Add Wrigmann (is he here yet?) and AceTechno. All PreRunners.
If your 2wd has LSD or Rear Locker. There is a lot you can do. I mud bog mine all the time. I don't get out to too many trail runs due to I work to much these days. All you really need is maybe a lift and some really nice AT or MT tires. And you should be set. You can check out my members build thread and you can get some ideas as to what can be done to a prerunner. I got more mods commig in the mail in the next week. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
Welcome and congrats for finding us! lol I hope to see you on the trails, don't worry 'bout 2WD, there's many runs you can still do.
Welcome! Don't forget the meet n greet comming up!

X2 there are some pretty built Pre-Runners around. I am slowlu building mine. Come out to the meet in Calremont on April 19th and we can all meet and you can see hella cool FJs!
You won't get any flack from me and my pre runner! Welcome
Well thanks for all the support from everyone thats commented so far! I hope to meet some of you soon! I'll definitely try to make it out to the meet and greet on the 19th! I haven't had it off road yet, haven't even got a lift yet...I was worried about the warranty issues but I guess as long as I don't go over board I'll be ok. Once again, thanks for the comments and if I have any questions...which I'm sure I will...I'll be sure to ask here first!! Hope all is good wherever you may be!!!

Warranty? You mean I might have screwed myself out of a new drivetrain or suspension components just because I changed the springs, shocks, UCA's Rear Links, Skids, and Front & Rear Bumpers? I wish I would've known that before I started. Muahahahah! Ooops and I bought that extended warranty and paint thing too. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when I bring it in for my paint warranty 6 month detailing with 100 crayon circles allover the vehicle pointing out where they need to fix paint chips and scratches...
Moses,

It was great to meet you. Thanks for making it easier to wire up Mike's rig. We could not have done it without you. Thanks for running to the store for me, I owe you one.

Tim
Tim it was a pleasure!!! Always happy to hang out with fellow FJ lovers out there and lend a helping hand!!! Thanks for all the brew and the ribs were "AWESOME" We'll have to do it again sometime...say when I get me some overhead lights so I can drill into my roof!!!! haha See you this weekend...me and Alicia can't wait, it's gonna be a great time!!!
