I CALL YOU OUT! It is not in the owners! ... tho i never read owners LMAO ... it says how to change the color and text? i thought i read the owners for the FJ did not say that since its a scion radio??

Yep, in the manual. At least it is in mine, as that's what I used to change my colors.

Main owners manual, page 159, paragraph starts on the right side of the page under the heading DISPLAY COLOR CHANGE FUNCTION (type 2 only) type 2 is Fjammer, you cannot do this on the single disk stock sterio.

I didn`t know I could change the color of my radio lights. I found it on page 159. This will now be tommorrows lunch time project. I have a variety of colors to choose from I think I will try Blue or Purple. I noticed there are 7 steps that should keep me busy for an hour. Still learning something new everyday go figure ;D

I've had mine in red for a long time. Ther is a few threads on this inda blue room. It needs to display RED, WHITE and BLUE with much larger and darker text.
I think I will have mine scroll profanity on start up now also!

You can also have a different color for each feature, CD, FM, AM, AUX whatever. thats how I got it.

I just learned that you can change the text.. I like Dave's idea of the radio scrolling obscenities on startup.
