A mountain biking friend of mine is looking to win the Santa Cruz Hell Ride this year, so I am whoring for votes!

Doug is 64 years old, kicks everyone's ass in any climb, in any class, race, event, name it... he is no pro, just and old cool dude who loves life and the ride. Had to re-reply... went on a ride this morning as was talking about Hell Ride (and other endurance type events like Vision Quest). I said that one of the So Cal FJ peeps replied "doesn't even sound like fun" to which was answered "and driving my vehicle off road don't to me". To each his own... found it funny.

I have an Intense 5.5 that gets no love these days since building up a SS. I like the low tech, no noise, and simple "you pedal / wheels turn"... I had to add a bear bell because even the coyotes could not hear me...
