Okay, I can't help my self Dom. Sorry, not trying to offend you, just looking at it realistically.
Where have you ever been that a limb was too low for you to go under. We are not east coast bound or in the south.
What about your lights, your snorkel and all the rest of the stuff on top of your truck. They also make accessing the engine compartment hard from the side. If a limb is going to hit these cables it will not rise above the snorkel or the lights, so most likely you would stop and go around or get out a saw and cut them off.
I saw a guy in Missouri with them on, they worked perfectly, except he broke all his lights off the top of his truck.
I will just go around or some other way.
I am sure they will get a lot of comments at the mall. Cloths line on a long expedition. And my guess is that they are illegal in this state. There are certain laws the auto makers have to abide by for pedestrian collisions. crumple zone for body hitting the hood, and windshield. Those babies could sever a person in a heart beat.
But they do look different and I could possibly see it if I was in an area where they might come in handy. Just not enough bush for us, I have heard that before somewhere else.
