Just did a bit more research, and supposedly people that have volunteered their cars in the past had trouble with AEM and their agreement. They said it took about a month to get reimbursed for their car rental fees, and took about 8 months to get the intake (some still haven't gotten theirs yet). I don't think the hassle is worth it for a ~$300-400 intake.

Especially since there is top-notch stuff already on the market, such as AFE (whom Toyota uses to manufacture their TRD filters / intakes)
