Just wanted to ask if anyone knows any specialty shops in SoCal that deal with International Harvester Scouts. I have a '64 IH Scout 80 that I'm gonna start rebuilding and use for my offroad vehicle and need some parts stores and mechanics in SoCal. Thanks in advance for any input or info. I only have this pic but I'm going home this weekend and I'll take more pics.

Here's what my finished product will look like...after I hit the lottery! haha

Wow that looks pretty rust free around the fenders.. good score.
Yeah, it's not in bad shape, I have the doors and a bolt in roll cage that it came with. Some people do a V8 swap but I don't think I'm gonna do that, I'm sure it'll crawl with the original 4 banger. Here's the specs on the engine from the factory.
4cyl 152
Compression Ratio 8.19
HP @ RPM [email protected]
Torque, Lb. Ft. @ R.P.M [email protected]

Found that on some guys page...the ony forum I've found sucks and is nothing like this one! We Rock!!!!

CADavabert, whatever info you can get from him would be greatly appreciated!!!

IIRC Uphill had a pretty nice one in the past. You might want to ask him where the quality shops are.
Thanks, I take it that's Uphill? Not sure about the IIRC...
