How do I put a photo up??

Ok i`m trying to put a photo of my FJ laying on its side at cleghorn and I can`t get it to show up. I see the icon that say insert image am I supposed to type in the irl in between the 2 img symbols? I have a real cool picture to post and I can`t do it. Any help would be cool. thanks Steve

Steve, the syntax is [ img]url[ /img] (take away the spaces).

Got some tape? Duct tape works better on the Blue Room for some reason....:D

Make sure you upload it to a photo hosting site first, you cant just insert it from your computer, s=easiest way is save it to photobucket then copy and paste the one that has the

Photobucket is what I use, and seems to be one of the most user-friendly hosting sites out there.

When you create your account, there will be a button that says, "Choose Files." Click on this. Then browse to where you have your pics stored that you wanna host on Photobucket. I keep mine in a folder on the desktop called "Pics." Easy to find that way.

Highlight the pics you wanna upload to the site and then click "Upload." It takes a while to upload some of the bigger files. After they are done uploading, a screen will be up that will ask you to insert "tags" for the photos. You can caption each photo, or go down to the bottom and click "Save."

Ok, you are almost there. After all of the above is done, you have started your photo album. Under each picture are 3 boxes. The bottom one is the one you wanna click on....that's the

I went to Photo Bucket and it said free but after I started with the info thet wanted I read something that said $9.99 amonth. I stopped there and had my son up load it for me. Do I have to pay a monthly fee to use photobucket?
2 versions. One free and one pay. The pay one you can load up higher res pics and also more pictures. Just use the free one. Create a second account if you need to. I believe the limit is 1000 pictures.
