Hi Barron. Welcome to our SOCalFJCForum family!

There's a guy at my office that has a Polaris Ranger and some quads who keeps trying to get me to go out to Glamis or Buttercup. Now that I know someone who has wheeled out there, I may take him up on it.

You should try and make the trek to Claremont Saturday for the Meet & Greet. I'm sure we'd all like to meet you.

Originaly I tought I was buying a TRD at least thats what the sales man pitched to me, and my brother had talked to me about the TRD's. Now I come to find out its a "Trail Teams". I went to the Pomona off road expo they had rercently, and the guy with "Toyota TT" both told me that what I had was pretty mutch a TRD except a TT badge but they still make those all black TRD. Beside all of this confusion on my part I couldnt be happier with my FJ

1. What do you expect to pay for a Super Charger?

2. What kind of horsepower increase are you goin to get?

3. Is it bolt on or do you need a proffesional machanic?

4. Is it reliable horse power?

5. Is it goin to void warranty?

6. What kind of MPG should you be getting after this?

7. Is it goin to shorten the life of my engine?

thank you in advance

1. About 4k
2. About 40 or so i have been told. Its advertised at 304 net HP at 5400 RPM and 334 ft lbs of tq @ 3600 RPM with 5-6 PSI of Boost
3. Bolt on TRD but it needs to be installed by a Toyota dealer because of the re flashing of the ECU
4. Yep
5. Since its TRD (Toyota Racing Development) Bolt on the burden of proof would be on Toyota.
6. If I keep my foot out of it (which I won't) I'll lose some MPG. Ball Park say 15 as compared to my 17 I get now.
7. Nope....Just keep it maintained according to factory specs.

WOW Tim...I didn't know the TRD SC gave you a horsepower gain of 400, does that mean you'll have about 640 horses under your hood!!!! haha Oh you meant 400 total when you're done!!! haha
