Hello & it was nice to meet everyone down in OB...

Hey everybody it was great to meet everybody at Hodads. Those were some sweet rides you all have. I can't wait until I get mine done. Maybe we can do a trail run before I split to Indonesia.

Hey Dave, great meeting you today and glad you signed in here. This forum is made up of a great bunch of people and I'm sure you can get a run in before you leave...something local, just a day run...and we'll be here when you get back from Indonesia!!! Take care and maybe we'll see you around sometime if we don't then have a great time and we'll see ya when you get back!!!

Wish I could have made the Hodad's run, but I didn't see the thread until long after it was over.

Welcome to our SOCalFJC family! If I don't get a chance to meet you before your trip, I'm sure we'll meet on a trail after you return.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!!!! Ya I'd be down for a run before I leave. anyone ever go around sunrise highway / Laguna / Cuyamaca ? I never have but hear there are places to go.

Well I was just driving home from breakfast & spotted a bunch of decked out FJ's parked in my neighborhood so I ran home checked the forum & saw a shin dig at Hodads. I was glad I stopped by. I have wanted to see those FJ's for a while now.

I know a few good places out near sunrise hwy, from mild to imminent damage. when you leave? we can defnitly set up a local run before ya go. I love doin local runs, I come home with gas still in the tank from the first fill up of the day ;D

I leave May 20th. So any weekend this month is fine. Next month will start getting crazy with final packing & preparation. Maybe last weekend in April ?

Hey Mike; if you plan a run; definitely let me and Moe know. He needs to get his rig dirty already. His FJ is still a virgin. hehehe.
