Just posting this up incase anyone is looking for 22lr ammo. I found this place online called Ammo Supply Warehouse and they have a ton of 22lr ammo I bought several brick of 500 for $38 ea. They are out of Nevada. I ordered on Monday and got it on Tuesday. I`ve been looking at Walmart for the past couple of years and I think I found 1 brick. I found this place and they had something like 900 bricks. I`m finally stocked up a bit. Anyway if you need it they got it. :)
Thanks Steve. 2 bricks coming my way! :shoot:

Heading out to Steel Peak shooting tomorrow 1/28/2017 @ about 9 AM.
Anyone else interested? I'll be way back in the very back of the valley. If you happen to take the back way in, you'll see me right off at the first location...If it's available. If not, then I'll still be way back in the back part of the valley. You can't miss my FJBEAST Green FJ.

Here is a link to the back way I take:

Well I`ve been calling around to find a paddle to make my Hi Point .40 carbine ( recently classified as a assault rifle ) back into a regular plinker rifle. Well they few places that have them want about $50. So today I found me a piece of plastic and got out the heat gun and decided to make one myself. Its not the prettiest thing in the world but it works and as far as I know its legal now. ( This is how turners is selling them now ). I was going to paint it black but decided to leave it blue so any BLM Ranger that needs to see it can see it from a mile away now. :) Anyway heres a couple pictures

Good job, very interesting thats for sure haha how in the hell are you suppose to fire the weapon? This state has some dumb **** laws and just keeps getting worse. I haven't done anything with my ar yet. I'm not going to register it so I have until end of year to do something..

I`m not registering mine either. I obviously haven`t shot it yet but my thumb seems to fit right behind the rear sight , trigger finger and pistol grip fingers are in the normal spot. It doesn't seem to weird but time will tell. I`m hoping to get out to Calico in the next week or two and then we will see how this goes. :)

Went to out to Calico today to do some shooting. Just thought I would throw out some updates.

Shot my Hi Point .40 carbine with the fin on it ( featureless ) it was not as weird as I thought it would be. Would rather in not be there but with a little practice its not to terrible. I also shot a bunch of the Armscor .22lr that I bought online and as did several other people here. It shot very well with zero FTF or FTE. Its really accurate also. Also shot my hand guns and a bunch of 1 oz. slugs from my 12ga. That's always a blast. I also found a bunch of high brass 12 ga. empty shells out there that were nice and clean ( I reload slugs in them ). No wind at all and it was in the 55 to 60 degree range so actually felt real warm to me. Its been in the 20`s at my house :). Anyway great day today :)

Well with all the new laws out for California I was having difficulty finding a new rifle today so as I was shopping for other items today at Tractor Supply I found this :) As far as I know its still not a assult rifle :) I had one of these as a kid ( probly 45 years ago. ) I couldn`t pass it up. Next time I go shooting with my boys ( 27 and 30 years old ) I'm going to bust out the red ryder and tell them its all I brought hahahaha.

Air gun Wood Shotgun Hardwood Tints and shades
Wood Font Finger Material property Pattern

Its remarkably good quality I couldn`t pass it up :)
