Going to put together a GB for you guys, I know General Sherman did a discount recently so I'm doing research to see 1. if there is interest and 2. what model you guys want. I was thinking of having a low profile, mesh bottom made and would have a meet and greet for pick up and install. FEEDBACK por favor!

Yes please, apart from I'd be interested more in the flat Utility version (BR-TYFJ-UT-S-1-0) - saw several at the summit, would like to go that direction. Any chance that could be in the GB? Couldn't do the General Sherman one, too close to FJS, was spent out!

I haven't decided whether i want the Utility or Low-profile so i would say that i am interested. Do you have a tentative time frame for the meet and greet? Gotta start saving my pennies.

mesh low profile might be the better bet for a dd then the regular baja rack. i got in on the last gb super cool guys. hope you are enjoying retirement

I would also be interested in the flat utility type with mesh floor.Added note,for the purpose of a group buy I would be open for anything that is not taller than stock rack.

Just got off the phone with Sergio, the mesh floor would be to noisy on the utility rack. But he did say that the utility rack has bigger tubing in the floor area and is stronger than the standard FJ BajaRack. I will put together a GB for five units and will post a price later today. I will take the orders and collect funds and give everyone a delivery date. Please let me know if you want to get in on this GB for the FJ Flat utility rack, if for some reason you can't do it now but can in a few weeks I can make arrangments for a deposit to hold one for you. Yep - that's the one - don't necessarily need a mesh base (looking at your next post) - fine with it as stock. Will be interested in the GB price - add me to the "interested parties" list for sure.

I got in on GeneralShermans discount sale and I am more than pleased with the rack. The rack is perfect and the folks at Baja Rack were super nice. I installed it right there at Baja Rack and they even provided all the necessary tools. I'd jump on this if i didn't already have one.
