A new bunch of friends to me, and I wanted to share a bit of me and my family with you. We got some good news today and it has been a long time in coming...

Almost two years ago, my wife was diagnosed with Stage 3c ovarian cancer. After a lengthy recovery from surgery, her doctors asked when she wanted to start chemo treatments... being who she is, she said "now". I won't go into the whole story, but she is a fighter and after four types of chemo and treatments for close to two years, we were given some good news today. Though she is not in remission (yet), she has made significant progress and was given a very good report today from here oncologist. We could not be happier and had a fantastic day today, these are to be relished.

I will share more as we are both very active advocates for women's cancer... but as my wife says "keep on kicking"...

Oh, my....I just had a tear come to my eye. My family has had a few too many people taken by cancer. I know what it's like to be with someone with that nasty stuff.

Right on, My mother in law just went throug about 2 years of horrible treatment for breast cancer. she's finally in remission but still very sick from the chemo. It's a terrible thing but well worth it when it's over. Keep on Keepin on!

Now the rest of you get out there and get on a Relay for Life team.

Come to ours or go anywhere, there are hundreds of them. They are fun and they rasise a lot of money for the cure.
