Corral canyon, Carvacre, Coyote canyon, truckhaven, Ocotillo wells, to a lesser extent fiesta island. Tons of places, just depends what kind of terrain and camping you are looking for

Can you camp and wheel right next to Sea World, down around that area? As I recall there are some very large dirt areas.
Yeah you can cruise fiesta island right there, it's just a bunch of sand but it's right on the bay directly across from seaworld. Be a nice place to bring a kayak or somethig. I havn't been out there yet but might be a fun place to group up and have a party. plus they got the fireworks during the summer. ;)

What he said. But Fiesta Island is NOT a wheeling spot. I got a ticket for four wheeling there one day when I drove through a mud pit after a rain storm. The city and the police are tired of people going there and tearing up the island. So, don't off road at all on Fiesta Island. It's not a wheeling spot. It's an island for people to run, bike, walk their dogs leash free, go jet skiing, etc. It's not a trail or place to tear up.
Thanks for the clarification frogeye. I didn't know it was harsh like that. I always see vehicles driving out there, but it makes sence to keep it mellow, it is after all a park.

Hot Springs Mountain in the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation. Great camping with some tough trails. $10/day on weekends only.
Thanks guys. That was one of the Hmmmmm places that sits in the back of my head, if it was or was not a place to wheel.
