Anyone else fish here. I have a charter in a couple of hours, the weather does not look great but the suns out now.

I like to fish the saltwater anything from half day trips to 3 day trips. I do some of my own charters and plenty of open party trips on the sportboats. I also love to do Panga fishing in Baja.

Panga fishing played a big part in getting the FJ because I needed a veichle that could offroad better to get to some of the remote locations with plenty of space for my gear.


Anyone else fish here, either the ocean, bay or lakes?

It's been awhile since I've gone fishing but I'm dying to go again. Growing up we'd go camping for like month every summer either Mammoth or Jackson Hole, Wyoming...and we'd fish the whole time. I loved it, it's relaxing and fun. I think someone needs to plan a weekend trip for the FJ's...camping and fishing.

We had a fun trip today.

It would be nice to have a charter for us here if we can get a sponsor to throw in some goodies. Part of the jackpot could be a certificate toward mods.

i havn't fished in a long time, but sometimes my dad runs a charter out of newport for couple days. i forget the name of the boat though..

I LOVE fishing, just havn't been in like 2 years. Hmm mabey an Idea for another non wheelin event? or eve nwheel to a lake and camp? I don't know the area so well so I'm not sure if thats even possible. Only one I know of is elsinore, and thats a tweaker dump.

We can go to Puerto Santo Tomas, its about one hour offroad (17-20 miles) off of Mex 1 just about 30 miles south of Ensenada until the turnoff to the road. Its one hour offroad from there. Once there we can fish and some can offroad.

My sons and I enjoy fishing, but don't go very often.. I'd be down with the camping or charter options.

For a charter we could have some fun on anything from a 1/2 day trip to 2 days price from $30-400.

Santo Tomas is pretty cheap, I also like to go to Erendira in the summer. Lots of offroading in that area.

Anyplace is cool as long as I'm not driving in mexico. If we do that I'm gonna get a rental. No way I'm bringin my rig down there after reading all the tourist jackings they've had in Baja in the last year. Unless we get like 10 to 15 trucks with guns and at least half of us speak spanish and have family there. lol

Love the fact my boy loves to fish... next trip to Mammoth I am gonna show him some fly fishing action. He has yet to do a SW charter, but loves being on the ocean.
