After reading Tubig's excellent storage unit post, I noticed many of us have been sitting on developing our own storage units.

How about we make a friendly contest of it??

We can give ourselves a couple of months then show it off at a May 3rd Meet and Greet?

Ultimately, we motivate each other to complete the project and I hope the forum will have a thread filled with a few storage plans.

Although this is a none prize contest...I'm hoping the competitive spirit will bring out the creative/mod/fabricator in those up for the challenge.

It should be fun 8) Anyone down???

Well, why not have a couple of major manufacturers there, and the winner's box gets rights to have one built (like the Bandi mount). Maybe All Pro and Demello can do something like that? Just an idea....I'm REALLY not mentally here today. If my post makes no sense, drink a LOT, then re-read. It should make sense then.

Here's spin on your idea. Have a SoCal vendor (or two) be at the M&G and they can judge which storage system they like best.

But it doesn't have to be a real contest.....just another reason to have a M&G.




But........I don't think anyone else is 'feeling' the idea :-\

I thought about it but with the way I wanted mine, the parts and labor, it was just about the same cost to buy one from Tuffy, so thats what I did.
