Picture of us on Dish pan trail Dec 08, only 2400 miles on it, only 2.5 inch lift was a bit rough on the skid plates but went right up with no problems.

Glad to see you post a pic of your rig! Now, get rid of that shovel in the front (OEM skid "bling" plate) and get a real skid under that FJ....you will gain a few inches of ground clearance and some REAL protection!

do you know how many times I have used that shovel to put out hot fire rings in the forest this year.......I have tottaly lost count. Can't believe how many people leave hot coals and then leave camp, with all the fires we have had lately.

No, I meant the stock skid plate, referring to it as a shovel....but I know what you mean, people not thinking about their fire coals.

yes I working on getting rid of that factory skid plate, I hear other skid plates give more clearence.
