Usually it's at the Mazda or Ford head quarters in Irvine starting 7am until 9am... but there is some Mazda rotary event this weekend, so it's going to be on a private road off of the Ortega Highway... the actual road that inspires the Mazda Zoom Zoom commercials where you see the car running a road that says Zoom Zoom!!!

Tried finding the road on Google Earth... but it doesn't show up.

Found a Youtube of the road... apparently I think it ends with a truck trail...

Looks like a fun road... if no one wants to go I may just let my BMW stretch it's legs on this road... just got new rotors, aggressive pads, and fresh ATE brake fluid...

Another idea would be for FJ cruiser's to invade the car meet from the truck trail side... LOL...

But just so you all know I'll probably go there before 7 and leave around 830 because I work in Mission Viejo that morning at 9

Yeah... I thought the road actually spelled out Zoom Zoom too... but it is just the road that inspired Mazda's Zoom Zoom commercials & I think where they filmed it as well which is why Mazda moved Cars and Coffee to that site instead of their head quarters where they are having a rotary event.

Car's and Coffee this past weekend was an awsome event!!!

I'll post a link to pics under the off topic since I ended up not taking my pandaFJ.

But I'll probably end up taking the pandaFJ to this saturday's Car's and Coffee at it's usual location in the Mazda HQ in Irvine... It would be really cool I think if we rolled up in a bunch of mud covered FJ's parked amidst the freshly waxed rides!!!

I tried a few times to get a bunch of FJC to go to C&C.... but it normaly fails as its not a offroad event and most fjc rather not show (this is what i was told in the past) I do hope with the more people we have now this may change and we can all roll up and invade it. so If you plain a invasion I am in.

Maybe because we are too "hardcore". How do you plain a invasion?

I'll be there this Saturday again...

Went last Saturday with my panda FJ & my friend brought his new EVO X... white with black powdercoated wheels... made for a neet contrast with the two of us parked together. Lots of people where checking out both cars.

If we can find a place to get the FJ's really dirty and muddy that morning or the night before... we could invade C&C and park our dirty/ muddy FJ's amongst amongst the freshly waxed cars.

btw last time there was also an old 80's Jeep & a big pre runner style Ford Pickup truck there.

I'll recheck this thread later, but if no one wants to go... I'll prolly end up taking my BMW to Car's & Coffee so that afterwards I can let it stretch it's legs on the curvy roads around Holy Jim ;D

Sorry for quoting a fellow FJ member... ANYWAY ther is a big parking lot near C&C you meet there and all roll up at same time as to "invade"

I return home from utah fri so if I get my sprite running good I will take my sprite sat morn
