I was at TLC buying a set of rear control arm skids and noticed a FJC bumper cover with carbon fiber wings and bezel. Turns out it was just printed and not really carbon fiber but it was done well. I was then showed a side view mirror totally done in the carbon fiber print. It was also done nicely. It turns out that they are also trying to pull off a real carbon fiber hood, not printed. I have a not so great pic on my phone which I'll post later.

I know some of you are yelling out RICE or BLING but I've seen a few good looking FJs that is a hybrid between an offroad setup and fixed up gangsta style.

Anyway, just wanted to share.

Actually, I'd do real carbon fiber. The FJ is already too heavy, especially the front end, but it all depends on cost. When I was swapping hoods, I found it wasn't really heavy at all, so I'm not sure saving a few pounds would be worth the $$$.

Good to know. Your right....they will probably charge an arm and leg for the hood.

If you guys are interested in having carbon fiber parts made I actually work for a company that can make these parts. If we can wrangle up at least 10 people willing to purchase each part that we want made then my boss would most likely make them. We can make carbon fiber hoods, fenders, bumpers, and maybe even rear hatches all in carbon fiber. Just let me know if anyone wants to see these parts made and I can even get group buys going where we can get really good prices on these parts. I'm not trying to sell anything here just trying to help my fellow FJers out! ;D

Awsome that you'd offer that up. I didn't think for a second that you were "Selling" I'd like to see some carbon fiber hit the market for the FJ, but I will opt out for other reasons...
