Tom, I can help you out. I have done mine and Fun Junkies but I do not have a free weekend until May 17th. If you can wait, we can do it then.

Do you want a hole drilled in your roof? That is the cleanest way to do it

Thanks for the offer Tim! That would be fine if I have to wait, at least I will have the job done right! Drilling my roof will be fine if that is the cleanest way. Just let me know, thanks again.

I live in Chino Hills.
.

Let me just confirm the dates with my wife that nothing is going on that day and we will get er dun!

No issue...I like the company.

I was just letting Tom know that it is a long process to get it done right. The interior removal is about an hour, it takes about an hour alone for the sealant to set, then we have to cut in the switches, relays and wire it. I like to start early, otherwise it could be late into the evening befor its done. We finished FunJunkies about 2 am and started about 1 pm....If you subtract all the Bs'n and Beer drinking and the BBQ we would have been done in about 7 hours and that included wiring the rears.

Tom....May 3rd plans cancelled, thats next Saturday....Want to do it then?

GT( Did not get your name, sorry)....We can try to get yours done as well, if not we can finish it up on May the 10th but it will need to be at my place, in Fullerton....I need to be around the house that day. Helping my son on his car and Sunday is Mothers Day.

Since I think we all want to go to the meet and eat lets plan on that on the 17th.

Rick, we can do yours on the 31st.

I'll check back later for responses.

Tim, May 3rd would be great! GT and anyone else that would like to come down to my place is welcome as well. An extra set of hands or 6 can be good as long as everyone doesn't play leader and are willing to take orders from Tim, I know I am. ;D We can possibly cut time down if Tim instructs while people do the "grunt" work. It's up all up to Tim though, so what he says, goes.
Tom....PM me your address. Plan on starting about 8 am, that way we can get a full day in.

Here is a list of what we will need.....

Switches - if your not using what came with the lights

20' of 16 AWG stranded (black)
20' of 16 AWG stranded (red or white)

You can buy it in rolls from an auto parts store.

1 - 1/2" or 3/4" seal tight 90 degree connector (get from Lowes or Home Depot)
Picture of it:

I used a 1/2" and still have room for a couple more wires. If you plan on more wires to more devices later on then get the 3/4". I myself will just add another hole in the rear of the roof for more stuff.

Crimp on connectors (I have a large assortment, I'll bring)

2 rolls of electrical tape (get the good stuff)

Zip ties (30 - 8" or bigger black ones from Lowes or Home Depot) White don't look so good.

Split wire cover (the black plastic stuff to hide wires) I got it at Lowes 1/2"
Picture of it:

I have the crimpers and stripers, soldering iron and all the other things needed.
