Can anybody help me install my lights?

Would anyone have any free time this weekend (4/26 & 4/27) to come over and help me wire 4 KC HiLites 50 Series Lights? I have them mounted on an NFab light bar and the lights are already on the bar and the bar is already on the FJ, I just need someone that has experience installing offroad lights on their rig because I don't trust myself. ;D I also have the harnesses with relays and switches, connectors, tools, extra wire, etc; so all I need is someone with the know-how. There will be some Carne Asada, cold brews, and hookah offered to the person willing to help me out. Just PM me and let me know. Thanks, Tom

where you at? i have the same deal...4 PIAAs mounted on top of the roof, but haven't been wired yet. one of these days i was going to get off my hiney, and just drill the damn roof.
Tom, I can help you out. I have done mine and Fun Junkies but I do not have a free weekend until May 17th. If you can wait, we can do it then.

Do you want a hole drilled in your roof? That is the cleanest way to do it

Thanks for the offer Tim! That would be fine if I have to wait, at least I will have the job done right! Drilling my roof will be fine if that is the cleanest way. Just let me know, thanks again.

Let me just confirm the dates with my wife that nothing is going on that day and we will get er dun!
Would you guys mind if my FJ tags along and gets some Tim-Love?
Everyone wants the "Tim love" ;D :-*

I have no issue with it. The more the merrier.....
Thanks Tim, read up on your All Pro Air Dam install...nicely done!
Hey Tim, I saw your post in the Meet & Eat thread and I kinda wanted to go to that as well. If you and GT want, you guys can come over earlier in the day, around 9 or 10am. Then we can knock out the projects in time to clean up and head out to meet up with our fellow FJers for some good eats! What do you guys think?
I'm game, but I probably won't make the M&E. It's all about Tim on this one, as far as scheduling goes...
Any chance a third FJ can tag along? I have the N-Fab bar and lights mounted as well with the tell tale poser wires flying in the wind.

Wiring always scares me.
Tom, The lighting is an all day project. Plan on 6 hours to get it done, per vehicle. If you want, we can postpone it for another weekend. See my post below...Post # 19
Guys, don't let me butting in mess up your plans, just thought I would see if I could glom on.
No issue...I like the company.

I was just letting Tom know that it is a long process to get it done right. The interior removal is about an hour, it takes about an hour alone for the sealant to set, then we have to cut in the switches, relays and wire it. I like to start early, otherwise it could be late into the evening befor its done. We finished FunJunkies about 2 am and started about 1 pm....If you subtract all the Bs'n and Beer drinking and the BBQ we would have been done in about 7 hours and that included wiring the rears.
Let me know if there is perhaps another time that I could get some help. Would gladly compensate you for the time. I checked out your rig at the m&G and you have definatley done it right. Nice tight clean mods all around.

Rick
Rick...I would gladly help you out, no compensation necessary...I work for BEER!

All kidding aside, I enjoy helping you all out.

May is done as far as weekends go but I should have some time in June if you can wait.
I appreciate it and will wait. I have some non wiring related mods to attend to in the mean time. Just let me know what works for you
Tom....May 3rd plans cancelled, thats next Saturday....Want to do it then?

GT( Did not get your name, sorry)....We can try to get yours done as well, if not we can finish it up on May the 10th but it will need to be at my place, in Fullerton....I need to be around the house that day. Helping my son on his car and Sunday is Mothers Day.

Since I think we all want to go to the meet and eat lets plan on that on the 17th.

Rick, we can do yours on the 31st.

I'll check back later for responses.
