All,
I am going to see a FJ (2008).

Based on preliminary information by the owner, the car had 1 owner, always highway trips, parked indoor since day 1 (from pics it seems like no rust),the Owner did regular maintenance (the Owner kept all the record papers and shared with me).

my only concern is that the car has high Mileage - a bit over 400.000km.

I am going to see the car tomorrow. I would Love to get some info/feedbacks from you about the high mileage. Is this a factor I should be worried about?

I read FJ are very strong car if properly maintained. However, when I approach high mileage cars I am always a bit scared.

It really depends on the price. If it were me I would take it for an inspection and I would pay attention to the rust level.

Actually I went yesterday to see the car with my mechanic. I was shocked - NO RUST at all (or very minimal but nothing underneath). Because it the mileage and needs new tires he is asking 12K
