After the first event was such a success we couldnt just stop there.

Doheny State Beach. The group camp site is reserved (Thanks MuddyGrrl)
May 24th till overnight. there was a fee for this reservation so depending on the turnout we will need donations to be determined later.
Check in is 2:00
This will be an all nighter for those who care to camp so please plan to bring your own amenities and such.
Here's the official website. http://www.dohenystatebeach.org/
We'll be at the Group Campsite. Only tent camping is allowed, no campers/RV's.

Here are some details outlined in my reservations.

* Site Reserve Type: Site-Specific
* Site Type: GROUP TENT ONLY
* Site Access: Drive-In
* Check-in: 2:00 pm
* Check-out: 12:00 pm the next day
* Stay Type: Overnight
* # of People: (min: 9, max: 40)
* Max. # of Vehicle: 10
* Max. Vehicle Length: 17
* Pets Allowed: Yes

I believe these are the overnight rules, We should be cool for a large day gathereing?

I'd like to punch someone, but I am planning on being at the beach. This is way too local for me to miss...

Right now it looks like me and the man-child will be doing the overnighter. Need more details please... when they become available.

I wanna punch someone too....but if I do I get sued, so I can't. Also, I can't make this either. Once again, work gets in the way of life.

For those of you not following the thread on the Blue forums, we will be doing a Main Divide run Sunday morning. All are welcome to attend. The run will be rated easy, but apparently there are some turn outs that can be fun to play on.

Also, if memory serves me, Main Divide is locked down mid trail so we might have to make a detour onto the Indian Truck Trail. I'll be prerunning the route the first Saturday in April and probably once more closer to the event.

If anyone is interested in going on the prerun, just chime in and let me know. I'll post a link to the thread when I start it.

Yeah, I knew it was closed out that way, just not exactly where until I called the Ranger's station.. Roughly how long did it take to drive from the Indian Truck Trail junction to the start of the paved road?

Hmmmm. 30-45 minutes maybe? The only thing I don't like about these trails, is that they are HELLA dusty.
