funny, i was just about to post my install too (earlier in the week). took me a bit longer since i had to remove my winch kill switch, and trim off Larry's dual battery tray. i didn't think it would make much of a difference, but it just feels like the truck got a new lease on life. with all the mods and weight, the truck has just felt so sluggish. my ear may be playing tricks on my rear end, cause it sure feels like the FJ pulls now.
finished installing the aFe cat-back exhaust tonight as well. it took me a little under 2 hours. ended up taking a sawzall to the tailpipe cause 1 of the 2 bolts aft of the muffler wouldn't budge (similar problem with many others). also had to take off the x-member for the rasta skids in order for the midpipe/muffler to be fully removed. i'm sure if i did it in the daytime, it would have been much faster.
drove it around the block a few times, but it wasn't enough to really get a feel for it. sounds a bit louder than with just the CAI, but doesn't feel like any performance was gained. maybe the ECU just hasn't had the time to learn yet.
