Adopt a Trail

I think it's time we unite and step up to adopt a trail. This means we'll have to work a few times a year and do some grunt work. Does this interest you? With trail adoption will come with some perks (keys, access, etc.). If you enjoy the trails in socal and want to do something to make sure they stay open, this is a good chance to do that. Let this be an interest check and if we have enough people, I can approach the proper people and make some trail selections.

I show up as sushibreath69 but it's me.

Tony you're welcome to a section on the forum for this!
Matt, that would be cool if you can restrict who can read the messages. We may want to have some privacy in terms of discussions and philosophy. Do you that would be possible?

If its not possible we could always practice extreme moderation of the adopt-trail forum and unleash the banhammer.
I'm gonna look into it Tony. I think I can do it though.
Thanks Matt.
I think you should kill the Blue Room thread with a hyperlink that points to a new thread in this forum. I do not like all of the advertising over there and it's slow. Also too many people that put in their two cents but will not be willing to step up when it comes time to "get yo work on"

If we were able to get the new board going for AAT, I'll definitely make a pointer to this site. In the meantime, the thread stays up. One of the reason to NOT kill the thread is to hopefully inspire other areas/locals to start something similar. It's not just us, other people look at it. As always, Socal leads the way! 8)

I am stumped.
That would have been an awesome trail. Imagine if the Trail Team decides to run that trail next year and it's OUR trail? :)
Matt, thanks for the separate forum! If you are a volunteer, please check out the new place for discussion. Let's try and keep the discussion relevant civil. Trail issues can get hot really fast. See you there!
