Also Please try to bring re usable plastic or such utinsils to drop the trash load as well as the monetary load.

April 3rd-5th

Bring your coconut bras and gra$$ skirts, or just an aloha shirt. Admission will be a themed dish for the Luau and a tiki torch or two. We will have a real Imu, (Hawaiin pig roast.) We got a date so mark it down, for real this time. Plan accordingly, it is a hot desert area so shade and water are musts. Some other things will be Lotsa open area for wheeling, Shooting (Only on BLM land, not the OHV area), Quads and bikes, Big a$$ projected WII and movies, Sobe Bombs (away from the community fire pit), Of course Booze. It will be family freindly and gun safety will be strictly enforced.

Itinerary:















Day 1; Thursday, April 2nd:
  • Arrive Thursday evening to stake a claim and set up area to prepare for Friday & Saturday arrivals
  • Get lots of sleep
Day2; Friday, April 3rd:
  • Pound guiding stakes in the ground to direct others to the luau
  • Begin digging the pit for the Imu
  • Get your party on
  • Set up theatre, sound system and lighting
Day3; Saturday April 4th:
  • Pukana La trail run (Sunrise trail run)
  • Decorate
  • Cook the pig
  • 'Auinala trail run (Afternoon trail run)
  • Luau to begin at 6:00 PM-ish
  • Aumoe trail run (Midnight trail run, might have to be done crawling... lol)
Day4; Sunday April 5th:
  • more trail runs
  • tear down
  • go home
General Information:
Located north of the Plaster City OHV Open Area, this 13,000 acre open area presents an array of challenging OHV riding opportunities from sand dunes to mud hills. Cross-country OHV use is permitted within the boundaries of this area. Limited use areas and military practice bombing targets are immediately adjacent to the open area. Please observe all posted signs and do not enter the bombing ranges.
***ONLY STREET LEGAL VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED ON WHEELER ROAD***

The coordinates are: N32 56.635 W115 49.105 or +32° 56' 38.10", -115° 49' 6.30"












From the I-10 East:
  • Keep right onto SR-86
  • Keep straight onto SR-78 [SR-86]
  • Turn right (South) onto CR-S30 [S. Center Street]
  • Keep straight onto CR-S30 [Forrester Road]
  • Turn right (West) onto Imler Road
  • Road name changes to Huff Road
  • Turn right (North) onto Wheeler Road
  • Arrive at Superstition Mountain OHV area

From Interstate 8 East:
  • Take the Dunaway Road Exit North
  • Turn East onto County Hwy S80/Evan Hewes Hwy
  • Turn North onto Huff Road
  • Turn West onto Wheeler Road
  • Arrive at Superstition Mountain OHV area
From Interstate 8 West:
  • Take the Drew Rd. Exit North
  • Turn West onto County Hwy S80/Evan Hewes Hwy
  • Turn North onto Huff Road
  • Turn West onto Wheeler Road
  • Arrive at Superstition Mountain OHV area

what do you do during the day when it's 110. If I am going to be in the heat it will be on my boat in havasu, Mohave, or Powell

or we can dig deep holes in the sand...line them with plastic and fill it with water....mini jacuzzi's! we can create little sand seats....blow bubbles with straws for the effect (or the guys could just fart alot)...just a thought.

DUDES...SERIOUSLY....we were first!!! traders! so do we need to reschedule....again? i'm thinking they arent even aware of our date change.....we need the entire gang or it wouldnt be right!

I retract my interest in the DV trip because of this going. Having said that, i am in training for two weeks in SD that concludes on the 3rd in the afternoon. from there i need to drive back to OC, get the FJ, and drive back out to superstions. do-able, but a hell of a da.

how about a plastic or blow up pool, Fill it with ky and let the woman put on a wrestling clinic?

Well I said I'm going to this and I intend to show my true colors and attend this vice the DV trip!!! I'm down wit my peeps!!! I got yo back Mike and don't get your boxers in a wad!!!! blahahaha
