Oktoberfest is coming! Every year we go with some friends to Old World here in Huntington Beach to celebrate bier. We go on Sundays because they have special events planned for kids and it's tons of fun. Especially when the Spaten and Jägermeister shots start flowin'.

Here are some links:

Post if you're interested and what weekends you cannot make it.

Now look what you made me gone and done... I had to quote my original post. I left the weekend open and was going to choose one that most of the interested people were free. ;)

Maybe a post up of what weekends they will be doing this? For those to non-click inclined.

I'm glad you posted it up. I'm not really into big crowds and the like, especially big crowds of drunk people. Later this week the wife and I will probably head over there for dinner. I'm hoping for some real authentic German food. The menu looked promising. Billy Goat's Gruff in Ouray was a complete disappointment.

Hmmmm, well, I don't know how to answer on it's authenticity but this is where all the local german people buy food. there is a german market with a butcher and a baker and, well, you get the picture right? sausages made fresh in house hanging, etc...

Ya, and the kids, young and old get to play and have a good time. A lot of the older kids have been known to have too much fun at times and made comments about those women and to this day, they're still payin the price... So I've been told. No, it wasn't me, I keep my woman comments to myself, unless it's about Jessica Alba :)

Bumpity bump bump bump! Just had dinner there tonight. After dinner we went into the hall and it's looking real good. They reconstructed a lot of the old parts and cleaned it up real nice like! We were able to sit in for a few songs from the German band Klaustaler Band then had to get the kids home for bed (school tomorrow) the bier is a bit on the expensive side but the Jäger girl made up for that ;) This weekend is a BIG DEAL there if anyone is interested, it's the big parade and opening ceremony. Sunday will be huge, if you go, post up, I will be in Yosemite.

Here is the Oktoberfest Jäger Shot Girlz interviews http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yD_LDCXYZOM

When I get back, I will pick a free weekend and I'll finally post up an actual event and kick this Feeler to its grave!

Whew! That bier is strong...
