Ok so... Not an offroad trail but still one hell of an adventure. Spend the day in Blackstar Canyon, exploring and in search od a waterfall with nothing but a set of GPS cordinates.

Started out at the giant fire gate at what is now the end of blackstar road to anyone that does not have a key to the gate. Large amount of cars parked there, mostly guys mountain biking the trail. Headed out about two miles and ended up boulder hopping and bushwacking through a creek for about a mile or so, took a couple lefts and rights, and ended up face to face with a hundred foot waterfall in the center of the riverbed.

It was dry, obviously due to our lack of rain, but you can see it supports large flow of water. The water runs through the main shute then dissapears behind a slot cut into rock, and shoots out another cave in the side. I can't wait to go out there after some rain and see this thing in action...

Re: Blackstar Canyon Waterfalls

Mud.

There must have been water there recently, the first 1/4 mile of the creek bed was this crap that was hell to walk though...

Here's a better one.
