Just a reminder everyone. The Spook Run at the Salton Sea is Oct. 25 (Saturday) Prizes on Sunday. Spook run is an off road Poker Run. It is a weekend long event, get there by Friday night come home Sunday. I've gone for the past 5-6 years and it's a lot of fun. It is even good for the whole family. There are costume contests for kids, Chuckwagon BBQ, Full Bar, Karaoke, fishing etc. I will post more details as I get them. Registration is $10 per vehicle (Per Poker Hand). It would be nice to get a crew of FJ's out there and mingle with everyone. We can even sponser/donate some prizes. The website is now up and running. Pre Registration Link Below.

Fish live in the salton sea? I thought it's so corrosive that it will eat through metal. Sounds fun though.

Yes, there are a lot of crazy stories about the place. But it is fun and it's a place you have to visit to understand...

Yes, It's alot of fun out there. The suspension is amazing. My buddies bring there Baja's every year.

Not that there isn't interest in your event, I just think 90% of the community is already busy with borregofest which is the same time. Shoot, If I could I'd hit up both, they are in the same area.

Yah I was looking at some pics of borregofest. The terrain is exactly like the area we go for the spook run. We start up the washes to the backside of borrego. Oh well, Treasure trails in February 09 is a much bigger event that everyone must join. I'm leaving tomorrow night at 6:00 so if anyone still has any interest let me know. Have fun guys...
