Ok, so the trails in Idyllwild are either fire roads or rock crawling. Since I am somewhere in between, we left Idyllwild and went to Lytle Creek and did trail 2N6a. I have done it my Land Rover that had a 3" lift and some BFG A/T's. I think the FJ is more capable in stock form. The only downside to the FJ is it's so low. The weight transfer going back down had me breaking in the skid plates under the engine. Other than that it did all of the obstacles easier than the Rover did. The blind spots weren't much of a problem as I had a spotter.

That's Lytle Creek? Must be a new area that I haven't explored. Is that near the back?

Yeah. If you take the road out past where the shooting range is, 2N6a is off to the left across the wash.
