Ok Ouray-Goer's,

Who wants to pre-run/run/what-not some of the trails in Ouray?

I figure we will have plenty of time to hit up the trails before and after our scheduled times.


Any Interest?

We could always figure it out there, but im just getting the idea out there.

I am pre-running California Gulch and Corkscrew Gulch on Wednesday with Dragon, Jeshua, and a few others as I've been thrown into leading it on Thursday @ 9.

corkskrew is closed indefinitly due to a landslide. I'm actually looking forward to some closed trails, more time to chill with folks and win chili contests.

According to the blue room part of California is closed too and Imogene Pass isn't supposed to be open until some time next week? So Alpine Loop it is! It might be nice to have a free day to go to some fishing

I plan to do Yankee Basin on either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday. The road is open and there are cool things to see like "hanging rock", Torpedo Eclipse Mine, Atlas Mine (abandoned), water crossings, spectacular rimrock, Twin Falls (featured in the Coors TV ads). It's just a graded fire road so I don't know if I'll shift into 4WD or not, but it's a fun get-away close to Ouray.
