[uphill]

This is an initial report.

I wheeled in last night and met some of the gang who were already here, for dinner. There are perhaps 20 FJC's here this (Tuesday) morning and another 100 or more are expected to roll into town by evening. An additional 150-200 will arrive on Wednesday as Ouray, Colorado is over-run with FJ Cruisers.

The weather is spectacular and though I have not yet been on top of the peaks, the snow pack does not look as bad as I expected it to.

i rolled into my driveway at 0053 last night.. What a fricken drive that was!

I was just to tired and the pain in my hand was absolutely killing me to much to stay another day camping with mud & the mains in the grand canyon. So we split up i took off on the 40 for a lllooonnngggg time.

I've got super bad tendinitis.

It was bad, got better, then i decided it was a good idea to crack my knuckle (which is almost completely seized up) when my mind was completely off the pain yesterday, which then resulted in more pain then i was in a week ago.

If it was that then Tony would have lost his arm already


Doc thinks it was because of the final work/overtime + complete clean up and assorted wrenching on the FJ the week before the summit.. the last thing i did was wax/polish the fj by hand. Just a huge overload.
