Awesome weekend. Started out good and just got better. First night Met with Brian and the boys at the AVI casino, holy cats gas was cheap there, like 412 for premium. Anyway after that I headed over to camp with Spertierra. Great spot by the way. Later Piper showed up and our drinking continued through the night. No sleep at all. Next morning we met the rest of the crew who stayed at the hotel. We got back to camp and suited up while a rattler decided to visit. I Officially had the Gayest toga ever (YESS!!) lol. off we went. after a short time into the run piper complained of a clunk. we stopped to find his upper shock bolt snapped off mysteriously. we thought it was the end of the fun for him, well no way, he ran the whole trail on 3 shocks!! awesome. other carnage was a lost CB antenna and a slghtly bent rim. We stopped at the fort and bothered some old hikers heheh then on to all the next tourist attractions. Thanks to Spirtierra for leading us and giving us all the information at each of the stops. A couple sad notes, someone took down the penny jar and whipped it into the top of the tree so we found another metal can and started a new one, also all the gnomes were taken from the gnome tree. Camp was a great time, but after being awake so long and sippin brew all day I was the first to crash out. not sure what happened after that. sunday morning we continued on and it seemed though the trail just got better as we went on. We stopped at the cathedral, the flagpole, the Mines, Rockpile and a few other spots. Finally we hit the last 2 water crossings and played around there for awhile seeing who could make the biggest splash. Soo fun!!. at the end of trail we aired up (thank you for the air Brian!) and said our goodbys to piper wh had obligations, the rest of us carried on to Peggy Sues diner to take a Ho bath in the sinks and have a good lunch. I had such an awesome time. You guys all rock!! Thanks for the memories. Pics to come later, I cant get em all uploaded tonight so tomorrow it will have to be. I gotta sleep.
