It was a perfect day out on Cleghorn today. It didn`t feel hot but I got one real bad sun burn that i`m just now starting to feel. I met alot of new people today very cool people. Our leader today was McMom and Mcjeep ( I hope I got this right ) McRover was there for a while also. I followed them all day and had a great time. Learned alot had some real good pucker moments and did some runs I never had done before and i`m glad I did. Hair raising at times especially the puckerhill bypass ( just dam that was a ride  ). Some of the runs weren`t as hard as I was told thats good to know. I met Mr. & Mrs Hardluck very cool people we talked for a while as we aired up the tires. I finally met Bobonel. I ended my run at hwy 138 as did some of the others on our run, the rest went off to 2n17x and are probly still there. I didn`t take any pictures but i`m sure others did. Thanks to Bobonel for putting this run together it was a blast. I`m already looking forward to out next run.

Nice showing guys :). Did the Rover take damage on this trip? I saw a pic of the damaged rear bumper but wasn't sure if it was this trip or from before. Btw, that Jeep driver is very cool and I've ran with him through some tough stuff. Maybe it was just a wheel base issue here.

Yes the Rover did take damage. He lost his rear tail light commin up one of the camber hills on the cleghorn trail.

And the Jeep driver is very cool indeed. So was his jeep! He had 35 x 12.5 tires and a 4.5" lift. Where he got stuck was one of the first hill climbs on the 2n17x trail. The most difficult hill climb i saw that day. None of the FJ's attempted it, we all went around the hill on the bypass (along with the TT) and helped him on the last part of the hill.

Truly an amazing vehicle. The first section of the video where the Rover was having a little trouble gettin through, the jeep just crawled through it with beautiful articulation and all 4 wheels on the ground the whole time!

But for everyone else who watches the video... the Fj did pull the Jeep up that hill! ;D

Was the jeep driven by McJeep? And was the Rover his son, McRover? If so, I've wheeled with both of them before out at Stoddard Wells. Good people and good family. No need to harass him. He doesn't have the typical "jeeper" mentality.

that hill mcjeep was pulled up wasnt cleghorn.....it was 2n17x and it was the middle section (they closed off the side 2 sections due to erosion) and it was STRAIGHT UP....none of us had the cahoneeesss to do it. mcjeep is awesome and he kept insisting that if his wife was driving (mcmom) they would have made it! i think i have some pics of it i'll post up later.
